Making A Purchase
Making a purchase is very straightforward. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

All catalogue descriptions and Web Site information are indicative only and any specifications, measurements and technical data (whether relating to performance or otherwise) have been prepared for guidance only and may change witout notice. The company reserves the right to amend technical or clerical errors in any order without notice. Manufacturers also reserve the right to amend specifications without notice, in order to improve products or where amendment becomes necessary. We shall endeavour to inform the Purchaser of any such amendment or change.
In addition, the buyer shall ensure that all details contained within the order are correct prior to submission to the Company. This applies to cut lengths of cable in particular.

When a confirmation email of order is received by you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Prices and Payment
Prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling and are subject to alteration without prior notice (upwards or downwards) and shall incur VAT at the current rate until further notice. Purchasers should note that current prices are quoted at the time of order with a minimum net invoice value of £10.00.
All prices and net invoice values are exclusive of delivery and VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Solo, Visa Electron and Maestro cards.
We do not accept any other card types.
The card must be registered to the invoice address of the order and be issued in the UK.

We do not offer credit accounts.

All goods remain the property of PoleVolt Ltd. until full payment has been made in full.

Tax Charges
You will be given the total price of the transaction including any carriage and VAT before you complete your purchase. For orders made from the UK, VAT at the current rate of 20.0% will be added. There are no hidden extra costs.

Credit Card Security
Card payments are handled by the Sellerdeck Payment Service powered by the Creditcall financial and technical infrastructure which is 100% PCI DSS level 1 compliant.
When your order is placed at our website, credit card details are passed directly to our payment service provider. Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode are implemented on this site for your additional security. We never see your credit card details.
Please note: The invoice address must match the registered address of the card in order for the transaction to complete successfully. When you click the order button, your card is checked by a secure banking system and the money is pre-authorised from your account at this point. If your payment does not complete first time, please contact us. Do not continue trying to pay as each transaction will be pre-authorised and will remain on your account for 3 to 5 working days.
Payment is only taken from your card when your items have been picked and your order is ready for dispatch.

Delivery Information
We are only able to deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, including the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, all of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Isles. In the checkout process you can specify your preferred delivery method. The delivery options and the cost of these are determined by the overall weight of the order. Some options may not be available if the weight for that option has been exceeded.

As an indication, the following delivery times can be expected although we cannot guarantee these timescales as items can get delayed in transit.

UK Mainland Courier: Next Working Day (Orders dispatched on Fridays will be delivered on the following Monday except where a public holiday falls.)

Northern Ireland: Royal Mail Special Delivery 2-4 Working Days
UK Offshore Islands: Royal Mail Special Delivery 2-4 Working Days

Orders with a net (before VAT is added) value of £100.00 will be delivered by DPD to UK Mainland addresses free of charge.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free delivery to Scottish Highlands and all offshore island addresses.

IV1 - IV63
KW1 - KW14
PA20 - PA78
PH19 - PH50
HS1 - HS9
ZE1 - ZE3

The DPD Next Working Day delivery option DOES NOT apply to the Scottish Highlands and all UK Islands.

We do not dispatch to third party freight forwarders.

We are unable to accept online orders from countries outside the UK.

Shipping Information
We use Royal Mail and DPD where the weight or volume is high. We aim to hold all items in stock and endeavour to dispatch your order the same day if ordered before 2pm. Orders placed after this time will be delivered the working day after that. If an order is placed on a Friday before the cut off point using next day delivery, delivery will occur on the following Monday providing it is not a public holiday.

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. A daytime telephone number is required by our courier and will be displayed on the address label. The majority of our deliveries will require a signature on delivery. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). Please note that Royal Mail Recorded Delivery is NOT a guaranteed next day service. Items are only classed as lost by Royal Mail after 15 working days. If you require an item urgently, we recommend using our DPD courier service for mainland postcodes or Royal Mail Special Delivery for the Scottish Highlands and all UK Island addresses. Please contact us for delivery to the Channel Isles.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. If you are asked to sign for goods that are visibly damaged please make a note of this when signing. If they are damaged beyond use you are able to refuse to sign for the goods. In either case, please contact us as soon as possible.

Back Orders
We aim to stock all items in the catalogue but occasionally there may be a delay in obtaining some items from our suppliers. If any of your item are not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel any missing items from your order if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee
All guarantees for products are provided entirely by the manufacturers/UK importers and are subject to terms contained therein.
Goods that are supplied or used for specialist competition applications are subject to extreme stress and heat whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and buyers should note that any claim for failure/wear, shall not be entertained by the Company. It is acknowledged by the buyer of such goods that the foregoing statement shall be a relevant and important issue in any claim brought against the Company and the Company shall, in turn, place importance upon this clause. In addition, parts connected to parts supplied by this company may be placed under stress where specialist/competition parts are used, and purchasers should take advice from experts prior to purchase. Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components are installed for competition use. Where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied, delayed or otherwise in breach of the implied terms of the buyers statutory rights, all losses which result from loss of competition points, awards, loss of entry fees or other similar losses, are excluded and shall not be reclaimable from the Company.
